A system incorporating mounted gas struts which automatically returns the Flexion/Distraction unit into the horizontal position when pressed into flexion the doctor.
This system is easily disengaged when turning a handle which allows the Flexion/Distraction unit to be used as described at the Flexion/Distraction page.
